Minimum amount of $20 million dollars Australian for any one occurrence; Coverage amounts to be recorded.
If less than $20 million (AUD) the contractor must upload a copy of the Insurance Schedule from their contract.
When the policy states less than $20 million (AUD), the company will be prompted to upload their insurance schedule from their contract to the "Asbestos Liability Insurance - Less than $20Mil Insurance Schedule from your Zinfra or Jemena Contract" in the V3 Company Pre-Qual portal - this document must be processed before "Asbestos Liability Insurance - Less than $20Mil."
Pegasus staff will check to see if the lower amount has been approved in the contract and matches the certificate of currency uploaded. If the coverage amount HAS been approved by Zinfra Jemena staff by email, this can also be accepted.
If the policy amount is not in AUD and the policy is worldwide, a conversion at the time of processing is to be completed to ensure the non-AUD amount is equal to or greater than the $20 million AUD amount OR the lower amount that approved.
USD converted to AUD amount of greater than the $20 million is acceptable when the policy applies for work conducted in Australia
