For an RMS / Safework issued card: - The applicants name shown on the card needs to match the applicants registered name in Onsite
- Must be issued by NSW Roads & Maritime Services (RMS)**
**From 1 July 2020, Traffic Control cards will no longer be issued by Transport for NSW (formerly RMS). They will be issued by SafeWork NSW and will be called a Traffic Control Work Training Card. RMS issued cards are still valid / can be accepted until the card expiry but following on from that contractors will supply Safework issued card. - Cards from RMS Accepted:
- Containing "Traffic Controller” OR 'TCR'
- Containing "Implement Traffic Control Plan” OR 'IMP'
- Either black and white or colour copies of certification is accepted
- Only the front of the card needs to be displayed in uploaded file
For an interim RMS/ Safework issued certificate: - Interim Certificate can be accepted for this competency in lieu of card (Interim certificate is a Statement of completion)
- The applicants name shown on the card needs to match the applicants registered name in Onsite
- Statement of completion is valid exchange for Card, however only valid for 90 days
- Matching competency title to be listed having been achieved on certificate
- Certificate is to be issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
- Either black and white or colour copies of certification is accepted
NOTE: If not issued by NSW Roads & Maritime Services (RMS)/ Safework it will need to be escalated to Site for approval. | - Record the Issue date within Onsite as follows:
- Completion date / Training Date - if listed on certificate (this date is always used when displayed)
- Issue date - If only an issue date is listed please enter this as the issue date
