  • Acceptable evidence can be in the form of:

    • Certificate

    • Training provider certificate in card format

    • Refresher Training

    • Safety Meeting/Toolbox Talk

  • Evidence must state completion of ‘Bloodborne Pathogens’ (or similar course name variation) Training

  • Applicant's name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the name registered in the system (however shortened versions of names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' is acceptable). /wiki/spaces/AIABRI/pages/2683240588

  • Colour copy or black and white copy is acceptable 

  • Issue Date = Date of completion

  • Expiry Date = As specified on the evidence. If not specified: Input expiry as 1 year from date of completion

In the absence of applicable training requirements for a particular work activity, hazardous substance, tool or piece of equipment or machinery, employers are encouraged to refer to manufacturers’ recommendations for safety training, where available, as well as those listed in applicable voluntary consensus standards.

The training documentation uploaded should be dated within the past 12 months.

Acceptable training documentation should include the following:

  • Subject/Topic of the Training

  • Instructor Name

  • Employee Name

  • Employee Signature

  • Date
