• Need to submit a MYOB, payroll statement or a doc as a proof that depicts that worker is a direct employee of the licensed asbestos removal company
• File format can be a jpg, doc or pdf
• They can black out / hide any personal info on that document like employee’s address, DOB, salary details, TFN etc.
• An exception to this would be the company owner – if he’s engaged in asbestos work, he doesn’t need to submit this.

• Asbestos health surveillance medical report to be  acquired from an occupational
  medical health centre showcasing that a worker is fit to engage in ACM works.

• This is not just a spirometry test.

The course code is to be 10314NAT or 10675NAT – Course in Asbestos awareness

NOTE: From the 17^th November 2017 certificates of completion or both 10314NAT and 10675NAT are acceptable as proof of competency in Asbestos Awareness Training.

10314NAT is the previous recognised course 10675NAT is the active course

Interim Certificate for 10675NAT is also acceptable

Training in the course 80803ACT between 01/01/2008 and 30/12/2013 is acceptable

Training in asbestos awareness (No Course Code) conducted by the following RTO’s between 01/01/2014 to 30/06/2014 is acceptable

The current course 10314NAT can only be delivered by the RTO’s found here

The course cannot be completed online

The following training completed by a worker are accepted as meeting the requirement for Asbestos Awareness Training.

• CPCCDE3014A - Remove non-friable asbestos
• CPCCDE3015A - Remove friable asbestos
• CPCCBC4051A - Supervise asbestos removal; and
• CPCCBC5014A - Conduct asbestos assessment associated with removal
• ASBIRA001A - Identify and report asbestos materials and/or products

The following is accepted as evidence of completing the course

• Statement of Attainment
• Certificate of Completion
• A plastic Card issued by an approved RTO
• Interim Certificate showing 10675NAT

Asbestos Assessor Licence from all states except for Victoria and Western Australia is acceptable.

• Front and back scanned copy of the card required only if Course code, issue date and RTO details are not shown on front of card
• Date of completion to be recorded as issue date in Onsite

• No expiry date is required to be recorded unless interim certificate is uploaded.

• If Interim certificate is uploaded the expiry date is 60 dates from the date of issue

• The applicants name shown on this certificate needs to match the applicants registered name in Onsite
• Asbestos Awareness to be listed on certificate
• No unit code is required for to be displayed on the certificate
• Accepted types of certificates are:
