Motor Vehicle Certificate of Registration

Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy.
Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on registration (If the registration is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due).


Conditional Registration Certificate

  • Issued by TfNSW RMS or other state equivalent.
  • Special conditions comply with LLE project site.

Issue Date = present date.

Expiry Date = end of project date.
Motor Vehicle Authorised Inspection Station e-Safety Check Report

Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy

Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on report
Trailer State Road Registration

Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy.
Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on registration (If the registration is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due).

Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy.

Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on registration (If the registration is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due).


Towable Plant State Road Registration

Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy.
Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on registration (If the registration is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due).

Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy.

Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on registration (If the registration is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due).


Marine Registration

Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy.
Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on registration (If the registration is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due).

Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy.

Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on registration (If the registration is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due).


High risk plant registration – new, renewal, replacing.
  • Must be issued by SafeWork NSW or equivalent other state authority.
  • Expiry date must be > current date.
  • Owner/controller name on certificate to match the company registering asset.
  • Duration as per certificate
  • Black and white and colour copies accepted.
  • Receipt number to be provided.
  • Types of plant that must be registered are:
    • tower cranes including self erecting tower cranes
    • mobile cranes with a safe working load of more than 10 tonnes
    • concrete placement units with delivery booms
    • lifts, escalators and moving walkways
    • building maintenance units
    • boilers with a hazard level of A, B or C
    • pressure vessels with hazard level of A, B, or C (except LP gas fuel vessels for automotive use; serially produced pressure vessels; or pressure vessels that do not require periodic internal inspection)
    • amusement devices covered by Section 2.1 of Australian Standard (AS) 3533.1:2009

Issue/inspection Date = Record this as it is listed on the certificate

Insurance.Property.Plant and Machinery
  • Business Name needs to match. If it doesn't match, government certified evidence must be provided to link the business names together. This is ideally a letter or download from ABR showing the linkage
  • Must display Mobile Plant and Equipment as the type
  • Must also include a schedule of items covered and how much they are insured for (usually in table format)
  • Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy
  • Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on policy (If the policy is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due)
  • Insurer = Insurer will be listed in policy content
  • Policy Number = as specified on the policy
  • Item = Plant and Machinery or ISR (Industrial Special Risk)
  • Amount Description = not required
  • Amount = not required

Motor Vehicle Compulsory Third Person Injury Insurance
  • Issued by approved insurer as per APRA Register of General Insurers located here http://www.apra.gov.au/gi/pages/general-insurers.aspx
  • Vehicle details same as on motor vehicle certificate of registration
  • Expiry date of period of insurance not less than present date
  • Vehicle usage - business
  • Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy
  • Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on policy (If the policy is paid on a monthly basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due)
  • Insurer = Insurer will be listed in policy content
  • Policy Number = as specified on the policy
  • Item = As specified on policy <accepted type> Motor Vehicle Insurance
  • Amount Description = As specified on policy <3rd Party Liability / Legal Liability / 3rd Party Property>
  • Amount = as per policy (minimum of 20 million AUD
