• Need to submit a MYOB, payroll statement or a doc as a proof that depicts that worker is a direct employee of the licensed asbestos removal company
• File format can be a jpg, doc or pdf
• They can black out / hide any personal info on that document like employee’s address, DOB, salary details, TFN etc.
• An exception to this would be the company owner – if he’s engaged in asbestos work, he doesn’t need to submit this.

• Asbestos health surveillance medical report to be acquired from an occupational medical health centre showcasing that a worker is fit to engage in ACM works.
  OR

• A letter which must be issued by the employer on company letter head stating that the medical has been completed and is fit for work with asbestos.

• This is not just a spirometry test.

1. The applicants name shown on this certificate needs to match the applicants registered name in Onsite
2. Any training undertaken prior to 1 January 2008 is not accepted and the worker must be retrained by a registered training organisation accredited to deliver 10675NAT - Course in asbestos awareness training.
3. Asbestos awareness training - 80803ACT, undertaken between 1 January 2008 and 30 December 2013 through an accredited registered training organisation, listed below, is accepted.

• Capital Training Institute;
• Creative Safety Initiatives;
• Housing Industry Association Ltd;
• John Geoffrey Kirwan and Sandra Mary Kirwan trading as Kirwan & Associates;
• MBA Group Training Ltd; or,
• Robson Environmental.

4. Asbestos awareness training undertaken in the ACT between 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2014 through an approved registered training organisation, listed below, is accepted.

• Capital Training Institute;
• Creative Safety Initiatives;
• Housing Industry Association Ltd;
• MBA Group Training Ltd; or,
• Robson Environmental.

5. Any training conducted after 30 June 2014 must be either 10314NAT - Course in Asbestos Awareness or 10675NAT - Course in asbestos awareness and delivered through a registered training organisation that has scope to deliver the course.

6. Any of the following training courses completed by the worker, and delivered by ANY RTO, are accepted as meeting the requirement to undertake training required by section 445 of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011

• CPCCDE3014A - Remove non-friable asbestos
• CPCCDE3015A - Remove friable asbestos
• CPCCBC4051A - Supervise asbestos removal; and
• CPCCBC5014A - Conduct asbestos assessment associated with removal
  
  

7. The course cannot be completed online

8. The following is accepted as evidence of completing the course

• Statement of Attainment issued by an approved RTO
• Certificate of Completion issued by an approved RTO
• A plastic Card issued by an approved RTO
• Interim Certificate showing 10675NAT

9. Asbestos Assessor Licence from all states except for Victoria and Western Australia is acceptable.

• Front and back scanned copy of the card required only if Course code, issue date and RTO details are not shown on front of card
• Date of completion to be recorded as issue date in Onsite

• No expiry date is required to be recorded unless interim certificate is uploaded.

• If Interim certificate is uploaded the expiry date is 60 dates from the date of issue

• The applicants name shown on this certificate needs to match the applicants registered name in Onsite
• Asbestos Awareness to be listed on certificate

•  The following completed trainings are also accepted as meeting the requirements for Asbestos Awareness Training:

  • CPCCDE3014A - Remove non-friable asbestos
  • CPCCDE3015A - Remove friable asbestos and
  • CPCCBC4051A - Supervise asbestos removal

• No unit code is required to be displayed on the certificate

• Accepted types of certificates are:
  Certificate of completion
  Certificate of attendance
  Statement of Attainment
  Statement of Completion

• Certificate is to be issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
• Either black and white or colour copies of certification is accepted
• *Electrical Industry Asbestos Awareness elearning also acceptable

For NBN QLD REGIONS only : “Managing and controlling Asbestos in the workplace” certificate issued by Kineo is also acceptable

• Asbestos health surveillance medical report to show a pass for Respiratory Fit Test acquired from an occupational medical health centre showing that a worker is fit to engage in ACM (Asbestos Containing Materials) works.
  OR
• An individual asbestos awareness showing clearance to engage in ACM (Asbestos Containing Materials) works

OR

• A Receipt or Invoice proof of full respiratory face mask is being used for ACM removal would be accepted.

This is not just a spirometry test.

A Respirator Fit Test Card is not accepted.
