  • Name on certificate to match person registered (however shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' are acceptable)

  • Competency unit/qualification code must match exactly
  • Must be Issued by an RTO with Nationally Recognised Training logo
  • Black and white or colour is acceptable
  • Scanned document to be clearly legible

NOTE: Cards and Verification of Competency evidence types are accepted in lieu of statement of attainment certificates providing they show the relevant statement of attainment unit of competency as well as all other necessary information relating to applicant details and issued by an RTO listed in Training.gov.au where the training provider has the relevant SOA unit of competency included in their scope


Exemption Process:

An exemption may be granted for a training competency requirement listed in the Training Matrices for an employee or contractor. Exemptions shall be applied only after careful consideration and risk assessment. Please click here for the template and business rules.
